I’m here to help! That being said, no one knows your company like you do, so we’ll collaborate so that I can learn all about you in advance and make sure your photos tell YOUR story, not your competitor’s. I like to have a game plan on shoot day so that we maximize your time and nail it on the first try. For events, I can “wing it” with the best of ‘em, but I LOVE a photo timeline or shotlist that I can study in advance and ask any questions I have before shoot day, when possible.
For most projects, 5-7 business days. In a rush? We have sneak peek options you can add on if you just need a few highlight photos to post the next day for press releases or to post on social media. Need them all before we leave your event? We can also bring an editor to your event to process raw photos as we shoot for instant delivery. The options are endless, just let us know in advance so we can make the photo magic happen.
For larger corporate events, typically 3-4 months; marketing & branding shoots, 4 weeks is ideal to give us time to brainstorm, prep/find a shoot location, hire hair & makeup professionals, if needed, and make sure all attire matches your branding. For headshots, approx. 1-2 weeks. All of that to say, these are ideals, I welcome last-minute magic when possible.
Think about where your photos are going to appear. If your branding is a sea of soft neutrals, maybe skip the fuchsia. I always tell my clients, a good rule to stick to is “Dress like a Ralph Lauren” ad. It’s timeless, classic and you won’t look dated in 2 years. You can always add a statement necklace for some personality.

• Clothes should be freshly laundered, pressed and lint-rolled.
• Avoid loose-fitting or baggy clothing which can give the illusion of a larger frame (yikes!) and can make you look rumpled and unkempt.
• Wear clothing that you're comfortable in and makes you feel confident. Layers are great and can add interesting texture to your look.
• Avoid really busy patterns. Subtle pattern is fine, but anything too crazy will take the focus off of your pretty face and put it on your attire.
• Color is great! Jewel tones are flattering on almost every skin tone. The only colors to avoid are super bright ones, like neons.
• Be careful with white clothing, while it can be done well, it can also wash you out. If you want to wear white, let's chat first to make it wow!
• Go a little heavier with makeup on photo day, it always looks like less on-camera than in-person.
• Avoid too much powder (can look caked on) and highlighter during your session.
• Well-groomed hair is great, but schedule any haircuts approximately a week before your shoot to give it a little time to "grow-in."
• If you suffer from flyaways, a little smoothing serum or hairspray can be your best friend.
• Speaking of hair, not all of it is good! Take a pass at any bushy eyebrows or overly-ambitious nose and ear hairs before your shoot!
